  This 5-star rating is based on my one experience there Dec 2016. I had the sesame chicken with white rice which was the best I've ever had. I also had the crab rangoons which were good. I couldn't detect much flavor beyond the cream cheese but I find them good regardless and would order them again. I don't drink tea or eat egg drop soup so I can't review those popular items.
  
  *edit: I see others commenting on the outdated decor. This didn't bother me even a little bit. It added to the experience for me. It certainly doesn't detract from the taste of the food.

  We go to China Gate often and we love Shilin and her crew. They are always friendly and I love the very small changes they have made to the food. As for the decor it doesnt bother me one bit. I'm there to eat the great food not remodel the restaurant!
